The owner undertakes to provide the lessee with a boat that is equipped and complies with the laws and regulations in force for the category of navigation chosen. The boat must be in perfect working order and clean, with all the necessary navigation and safety instruments on board. The hirer takes charge of the boat after signing the joint inventory and handing over the keys. It is strictly forbidden to sublet or lend the boat. Participation in regattas, racing cruises or other competitions is also prohibited.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A joint inventory of fixtures of the boat is carried out before and after each rental. Two identical copies must be signed by both parties. This inventory of fixtures must mention the condition of the boat and any damage or anomalies found. The signature of the inventory of fixtures by the lessee and the owner constitutes recognition of the condition of the boat, with the exception of hidden defects and normal mechanical breakdowns that may occur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Hirer must return the boat to the port of departure, unless otherwise agreed. The boat must be returned with all equipment at the agreed time and date. Any delay may result in additional charges. The boat must be returned with the same level of fuel as when picked up. Any damage to or loss of equipment will be charged to the hirer and deducted from the deposit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A deposit is required at the time of booking, in the form of a pre-authorisation on the hirer's bank card. This covers any damage or breaches of the rental conditions. The amount of the deposit does not limit the tenant's liability, who may be required to pay additional amounts in the event of damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Hirer is responsible for the boat, its equipment and passengers. He must hold a valid navigation licence for the area concerned and be competent to pilot the boat. The number of people on board must not exceed the authorised capacity. The boat must be used solely for pleasure sailing, in compliance with the laws in force. The owner may cancel the booking if he considers that the hirer does not have the necessary skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the event of damage to or loss of equipment, the hirer must inform Locanautic immediately. If the damage is minor and does not affect the continuation of the rental, the hirer may have it repaired at his own expense up to a maximum of \u20ac30. For more serious damage, the Hirer must follow Locanautic's instructions. No compensation will be granted for loss of use of the boat due to damage or adverse weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Hirer is responsible for the consumables required to operate the boat, such as fuel, lubricants, combustibles and batteries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In the event of a dispute, the tenant and the owner undertake to find an amicable solution. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be referred to the competent courts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
